Get to know us

Sor Juana’s Groupies is a collective -La Colectiva- of women writers and storytellers who believe in the power of narrative to shape identity, preserve memory, and challenge the way we see the world.

Rooted primarily in Spanish and enriched by voices in English, our collective brings together authors from diverse backgrounds who share a common purpose: to amplify women’s voices across cultures, languages, and lived experiences.

We write about what matters — identity, migration, history, desire, family, resistance, and the quiet (and not so quiet) revolutions that live within women’s lives.

Through our books, events, and collaborations, we create spaces where stories are not only told, but heard, valued, and shared.

Sor Juana’s Groupies is more than a group — it is a growing literary community, a platform for connection, and a celebration of women who write with purpose, courage, and voice.
